A different design to the Soxhlet extractors, this plain extractor allow the solvent vapour to directly permeate the solid material before washing back into the evaporating flask.
- Designed for use in reflux assemblies so that solvent vapour permeates directly through the material to be extracted then condenses and washes back into the flask
- Sample can be supported directly on glass spiral or in a paper or glass thimble

- Take care that the sample or thimble does not totally block the passage of rising vapour and falling condensate.
